01 Oct 1992, Detroit, Michigan, USA — Demolition of a house in the once-prestigious Brush Park neighborhood of Detroit. Houses here can be purchased for the back property taxes owed to the city, but most lie abandoned and decaying as no one with capital is interested in renovating them. Many of these houses have been used as crack houses and become victims of arson and vandalism.
